Our home is right on Mattanawcook Lake, with a front deck facing the lake, where we have picnic lunches during the summer months. There are many ducks and loons right off our front lawn. We also have a beautiful flower garden all along the lake front with two sitting benches. Many hummingbirds and butterflies visit our garden. On the side of the house we also have a rose garden, which is visitied often by many different birds. During the winter months, we are usually visited by bald eagles feeding right out front on the frozen lake. We also have a porch on the back of the house which is nice to sit on during the day after lunch. Usually the sun is shining beautifully at that time. Our home is like a vacation home - a home environment with the security of knowing that your loved one is well taken care of.
